Jeans for Genes Day supports research into genetic diseases, birth defects and cancers at Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI). It’s held on the first Friday in August each year. On this day, people are asked to wear their jeans and donate to support research at CMRI.
My eldest son and I have a rare, genetic condition, called Cleidocranial Dysplasia. The article below, tells more of our story. This charitable event is one I hold close. I’d love to be able to support CMRI through my work for children, and plan for this to become an annual donation.
